Holy crap. this is the one thing i didn’t like about my blackjack. i hated having to go to messages everytime i got a text. this solved the problem perfectly. thank you sooooo much

By far the most useful application for my Blackjack so far. Until someone comes out with something that cooks me breakfast, this will likely be my favorite for a while.

I love this app… but david, do you know of a timer utility tool…because ive been looking for a timer (like the opp of a stop watch) because i really need one.
July 25th, 2008 at 6:04 am
there is a stopwatch under the “organizer” file.
July 25th, 2008 at 9:20 pm
dan,
im assuming you mean something like an “egg timer” .. im not sure. try posting in the Forums under Applications and see if anyone knows

Works great - thanks! Now, if you could only come up with something that allows for a running text message display. Meaning, if I send you a text and you reply, my original message is not there — just your reply. That is the one thing I do not like about the blackjack. Just converted from blackberry and miss some of its features, including that one…

if the phone is not unlocked will it have a difference cause mine isnt and i dont see ne thing wrong? that i know of
August 4th, 2008 at 7:54 am
jerdan5,
Nope - if SMSBubbles installs and pups up the notification box when you receive a text then it works. I wouldnt worry about — I mentioned you might have to app unlock your phone in the post because i read in some forums and on the developer’s site that you *may* .. apparently this is not the case all the time.

Landshark, I think what youre talking about is Threaded SMS/Text messages. Yup - i agree. There are a couple commercial product that do this (i dont know how well they do i though) .. The one that comes to mind is called ExtremeThread ($15 i think) .. If you can hold out for the Windows Mobile 6.1 Update that comes with Threaded Messaging built in (*should* be released sometime this year)

The sms bubble pops up as it should but when I hit the left soft key (SaveRead) the message goes away, not sure where? The SMS notification also shows no messages.
August 16th, 2008 at 9:49 pm
jmatsoc,
its working exactly as it should. SaveRead marks the message as Read and keeps it in your normal Messages list (where all your Text/SMS messages go). The SMS Notification shows no messags because you’ve read the message and marked it as such.

Thank you. Beautiful work on the site!

Were Exactly Do You Copy The Files, And Do They Have To Be In One Folder Or Not?
September 14th, 2008 at 7:37 pm
Hey all, I have a simple question and help would be appreciated.
So I get Multimedia messages that I like to keep (Mark as unread) I have 13 messages at all times. And when my bubble comes up, it just says you have 14 new messages (15, 16 etc) Is there a way to make it so it shows the newest message I get. say:
Timmy,
Hey man whats up?
instead of just 14 new messages?

lilvolume - I dont think that is an option in SMSBubbles. Try e-mail the guy that created it at: saman@saman-cz.com … You might try donating a couple bucks to him to see if that greases the wheels any (even a $2-3 dollar donation will make you feel appreciated and more likely to give alittle more back) .. Click here to donate to SMS Bubbles.

The quickest and easiest way to download a CAB file is simple.
-download CAB file to a folder on your computer that you perfer
-after downloading locate CAB file on your computer and right click, scroll down to “send to”
-select _____’s smartphone documents
-let the computer sync the file to your BlackJack II
-now on your BJ II go to Start/File Explorer/My Device/My Documents/
-then select your CAB file you wish to install and install

I apologize, I meant the quickest and easiest way to download and install a CAB file. Downloading a CAB file doesn’t require instructions. Sorry and hope everyone enjoys their BJ II’s.

hello david,
I have installed this app and i can see it in my start menu, but no bubbles pop up when i receive a txt……i was wondering …is something wrong in my setting or something?
September 30th, 2008 at 7:22 pm
alphasierra, Go to Programs > SMSBubbles Setting - Make sure “Show Bubbles” is selected.
Also - what version of Windows Mobile OS are you running?
October 1st, 2008 at 9:14 am
yea…i had selected “Show Bubbles” yet it didn’t work…..im using Windows Mobile 6.1..
October 1st, 2008 at 4:01 pm
alpha,
Try uninstalling and re-installing it .. it should work straight from the install without any changing of settings.
November 23rd, 2008 at 3:11 pm
i have the same issue alphasierra had.
i started with the program and it worked fine (other than occasionally erasing a message i was currently typing), but after i hard reset my phone it wouldnt work. it installs and i have all the settings correct but it still wont. i hard reset yet again and it STILL wont work! i miss my bubbles =(
any ideas?

hey david, thank you for everything, this app is amazing, one thing though: how would you change the color of the bubble that pops up? my default was green and i find myself unable to change it
December 10th, 2008 at 10:45 pm
n092307,
I believe the SMSBubbles pop-up color is tied to your color scheme, which you can change in Settings > Display > Home Screen.

thank you very much

Does anyone know a trick to select mulitple contacts when sending a text message without leaving the contacts page and having to come back. On my old razr, I could select person after person and then select done and that would send a message to all the people I selected. It takes me forever to insert via the middle button and scroll all the way through my list again and again. Thanks for the help!!

Hi,
Every time i recieve a text, i always forget what i said (Probably because it takes my freinds very long periods of time to respond), so i have to go back to the sent messages folder and check. By that time i have forgotten what they said. Needless to say this is very annoying
I was wondering if there was a way, during texting, to show the message you are replying to and or what you said before hand? (like the SMS application on the iphone).
Thanks
