Comments on: After App Unlock I Can’t See My Windows Directory

I cant see my windows directory. I unlocked it with the Modaco app. Im running windows xp sp3. In the options folder under the view tab I dont have an option to see hidden files. What can I do?

I haven’t figured out how to reorder them yet…I’d also be interested in finding out if this is possible without digging into the registry.

Hi David. I hadn’t unlocked it because I’m running Windows 6.1 and I read elsewhere (on here, I think) that an unlock wasn’t necessary for Windows 6.1 (as opposed to the older versions).

I got antsy yesterday and went ahead and unlocked it using the SDA App Unlocker. I’m now able to get rid of the stuff I don’t want, which is great. My next question is – am I able to re-order how things appear in the start menu? (e.g. make Opera the first thing in there)

Hi everyone. I’m a Windows Mobile/BJ II novice, so go easy on me…

Just got a BJ II through work and it’s my first smartphone. I’m adding programs and such since most of the stuff it comes with stinks. (added Opera, Viigo, etc.)

However, I want to remove all the clutter from my Start menu. I can use the Active Sync to view the start menu folder just fine, but when I try to move/delete shortcuts, it tells me the following:

“Cannot move (insert program name): Access is denied. Make sure your mobile device has sufficient memory, that the file is not set as read-only, and that you have permission to copy this file type.”

I have sufficient memory, so that’s not it. Does this sound familiar to any of you guys or do you think this is an issue of what my employer has permitted me to do on the phone? For the record, I was able to create a new folder in the start menu…just can’t move any of the pre-installed crap into it.

Does anyone know of a hack that would remove the annoying unlock method to the keypad…..(you have to press the power button to bring up the screen to unlock the phone)….i’ve found a way…press 3 then press 1 and it brings up the screen, but i’m looking for a hack that would bring up the screen with any button press
