This is exactly what I was looking for. I have one problem still. When you are in a call, I would like the same thing available. This happens to me all the time, I call a company and get the spell-by-name company directory. Can somebody make this page the in-call page as well? Right now I have a sheet of paper on my visor that has them all written down.

I just downloaded this from my bj2 and it worked great. I just installed the WM6.1 upgrade. Though I have vanity dialing on... where you can hit the the shift key when you come to the letters of the phone number (FLOWERS) and when you hit dial the letters are converted to the numbers....I like the cheat sheet better.

FYI...

If you hold down the FN Key when you are dialing letters, it will convert it for you without this cheatsheet.

Ex. 1 800 ROGERS1 = 1 800 764-3771

Great idea though!

crimson, have you tried upgrading to WM 6.1? The new version has a built in vanity dialing option, it may help with your problem since its a feature on the phone itself and not a 3rd party program.

David, thanks for the fast reply. That was one of the suggestions from the CSR at AT&T; unfortunately it didn't work. The BJ2 must recognize the letter that corresponds with 6, which is G. My thought is the BJ2 doesn't recognize dialing a letter during a live call if it is not associated with a number. I looked thru the BJ2 manual and looked all over the forums on Samsung's site, but it appears I am the only person that has ever encountered this problem!

crimson, sorry to hear about your problem .. i think what you have to do is
1) Enter your account number
2) Enter the first two letters of your last name as they appear on a normal telephone keypad.

Example: If you're account number was 11111 you would enter:

1111162#

Because on a normal telephone M = 6 key, C = 2 key ... Having the Alpha-Deal Cheat Sheet would help you make this traditional Letter-to-Number translation.
