I saved the files to my storage card, found the file on my phone, clicked Menu -> Edit -> Move and moved it t the Windows Registry. It asked if I wanted to replace existing file and selected yes. My blank start and stop files are 4 sec. long (same as default files) so there is no delay in shutdown and startup, only silence!! Nevermind. Just had to make a blank wav file named start and stop and copy to the windows directory. Silence is bliss!
