Restore Factory Default Settings

Restore Factory Default Settings

To restore factory default settings:

  1. Turn off your Blackjack 2
  2. Press the Up button on the D-pad
  3. While holding the Up button on the D-pad, turn the Blackjack 2 back on
  4. You should immediately see instructions on how to restore your phone to factory settings

Note: if you see the at&t and 3g animations, try again – most likely you were not pressing the Up button on the D-pad when you turned the phone back on.

    Thanks for this post!!!! :)

THIS LITTLE TIP IS ALSO GREAT FOR FIXING BOOT UP PROBLEMS WITH YOU BJ 2.
My phone wasn’t booting up completely and everytime I tried, it would get stuck at the
“WINDOWS MOBILE” splash screen.I tried alot of things:

    1. I tried syncing it with my pc to flash it and that wouldn’t work.
    2. I turned it on in download mode and that still wouldn’t work.
    3. I tried pulling it apart…..of course trhat didnt work either.
    4. I even brought it to a ‘techinician’ and that didn’t work either.

    FINALLY!!!!!!! A SOLUTION!!!!!

:) ALL I HAD TO DO IS RESTORE THE FACTORY DEFAULT SETTINGS:)
I DID IT ABOUT THREE(3x) TIMES AND THEN JUST LEAVE IT ON AND IT WILL EVENTUALLY MOVE FROM THE
WINDOWS MOBILE SCREEN AND BOT NORMALLY.

    THANKS ALOT MAN!!!1
